Welcome

If you are planning to visit Marion First, we hope the following information will make your visit with us an enjoyable one. We want you to feel like an honored guest. At Marion First, we want you to experience the love of Jesus in word and action. Here you’ll discover compassionate people, spirit-filled worship, inspirational messages, active home groups,
age focused teaching and a unified community of faith. We hope that Marion First becomes a place that you can call home.

Getting Around

The campus of Marion first is made up of two parking lots, and two separate buildings. Feel free to park in either lot. 

The main church is the smaller building on the south side of the campus. It has a convenient covered driveway, in case you need to drop off passengers. On Sunday mornings this building is home to our family-friendly worship service and where Wednesday night adult bible study is held. 

The three-story building, on the north edge of the property is our Family Life Center. This building hosts Children’s Ministry classes for ages 5-18. Additionally, it contains a gym and banquet facilities.

On Wednesday evenings we are privileged to offer many different bible study classes across our campus to meet the needs of all ages.

Little Fisher’s Class — 2 years old thru Pre-K

Explorer Class — Kindergarten thru First Grade

Kid’s Church — Second Grade thru 12 years old

Rooted Student Ministry Class — 12 Years old thru High School

If you have older children, the majority of the action will be happening at our Family Life Center. We ask that parents, or guardians, bring their children into each class before 7pm, when church begins. Teachers are in the classrooms by 6:45pm.

Each of our classes has a team of dedicated teachers who strive to engage your children with the word of God each week. We want your kids to feel loved and to learn to love the bible and our savior Jesus with a fun time of discipleship. More information about our classes is available here.

Adult Bible Study Class

The adults gather in our main church building at 7pm for a time of worship and family focused teaching in our sanctuary.

Sunday Worship Service

Our Sunday worship service begins at 10am and is normally around an hour to an hour and a half, and is held in the main sanctuary. It is a time filled with vibrant worship and inspirational messages. We clap our hands, sing aloud, lift our hands and offer other heartfelt expressions of worship.

Please feel free to worship God in ways in which you are comfortable. To learn more about biblical examples of praise, please read 1Timothy 2:8, Psalm 47:1, Ephesians 5:19, Psalm 150, Psalm 66:1, Acts 4:24, Psalm 149:3 and 1 Corinthians 14:26.
